Employee Transportation

As part of our ongoing commitment to preserve the beauty of Snowbird and Little Cottonwood Canyon along with limited parking space, all Snowbird team members are encouraged to use the public transportation or car pool when commuting to and from work. Snowbird provides FREE transportation for team members with validated employee identification (Employee Ski Pass) on all UTA ski buses and TRAX*. *Free transportation on TRAX is only valid when riding to and from work.

UTA Ski Bus & TRAX Information
Buses run regularly Monday through Sunday during the winter season. Time points are approximate and may vary due to weather and traffic conditions. Service during the summer is much more limited. The current bus numbers that go to Snowbird are:

Bus #998 (7200 South TRAX Station to Snowbird/Alta)
Bus #996 (3900 South & Wasatch Boulevard to Snowbird/Alta

Canyon Transportation
Canyon Transportation shuttle vans also provide limited service up and down Little Cottonwood Canyon. This service is free to Snowbird employees with valid employee identification (Employee Ski Pass). The shuttle vans pick up at various places along the southeast end of the valley. Schedules are available at the Recruiting Office or any Public Safety Office at Snowbird. Early morning and late evening shuttles are available upon request.

Carpooling is a great way to save gas and the environment. If you have extra room in your car and are interested in sharing a ride, our carpool finder is an excellent place to start.
