Professional Appearance Policy
Snowbird has clientele from all different backgrounds and cultures. We need to ensure that all our guest feel comfortable
during their stay. The appearance of Snowbird employees will be judged by our guest. As members of the Snowbird team, it is
your duty to dress in a conservative fashion that will not offend our clientele. The following
is a description of the Snowbird dress and grooming policies:
EVERYONE
- Snowbird will provide uniforms, if required. They must be worn and maintained by the employee.
- Alternative hair styles and extreme colors are not permitted.
- Fingernails must be neatly trimmed and clean.
- Tattoos, if offensive or excessive, must be covered while on duty.
- In food service positions: bracelets, rope jewelry, or porous material on hands or wrists are not permitted.
MEN
- Hair should be neatly cleaned and tapered above the ears and collar with sideburns not extending below the earlobe.
- Men must be clean-shaven daily. Mustaches must be neatly trimmed and unobtrusive. Other forms of facial hair are not
permitted.
- Earrings and visible, pierced body jewelry are prohibited.
WOMEN
- Hair should be clean and neatly maintained in a conservative style. Hair accessories may be of moderate size, color and
style. In food service positions, hair must be pulled back and restrained if touching shoulders as required by law.
- Women may wear tasteful and conservative cosmetics and jewelry. Visible pierced body jewelry and more than 2
earrings per earlobe are not permitted. Earrings should not hang more than 1 1/2” from the bottom of the earlobe.
- If in food service positions, false nails or nail jewelry is not permitted.
